Meet Jennifer DeChant
Children My husband and I are proud parents to two young boys. Our eldest son, Isaac, is in the public system and his younger brother, Eric, will be there soon. Our children – all children in Maine – must have access to the kind of public education that opens doors and provides as many future opportunities as possible. Good schools attract good families, and that can strengthen our community.
Economic Development. This means career development as well. Education, reducing barriers to good jobs, and fostering innovative business approaches are key to healthy and sustainable development. Bath is uniquely positioned as a real player in the emerging renewable energy industry, and has an active creative economy as well. Proper leadership in Augusta can allow both sectors to thrive.
